TIAFF 2025: WHO’S GOT THE POWER | Friday 14th & Saturday 15th March
TIAFF is the annual Tilburg Architecture Film Festival. TIAFF curates documentaries, animations, and experimental films with the aim of raising awareness and fostering debate about the quality of our everyday living environment through film and lectures.
The program is structured around a different theme each year. To explore the chosen theme, TIAFF screens films from countries all over the world, offering a unique opportunity to watch inspiring and often rarely shown films.
As a festival visitor, you can enjoy a diverse program of film screenings, lectures, and discussions at Cinecitta. In between, you can grab a drink or a bite to eat at Ristobar29, while the Atrium provides ample space for conversations with friends and fellow visitors.
The festival’s setup, location, and curated program make TIAFF a welcoming and enjoyable event that is accessible to a broad audience.
The theme: WHO’S GOT THE POWER
For a long time, architects seemed to be the driving force behind spatial change. But is that still the case? Or does “who pays, decides” apply? We look at the role of users, designers, governments and developers. Who has the power? Who takes responsibility? Is counterforce emerging somewhere? The tenth edition of Tiaff is all about power!
On Friday 14 and Saturday 15 March in art-house cinema Cinecitta, TIAFF presents a program full of inspiring visual stories and lectures. We show how people, with inventiveness and perseverance, develop new forms of living together and living together. We explore how governments can create conditions to find and make space together.
