In 1950s West End London, plans for the filming of a popular play are abruptly halted after its intended director (Adrien Brody) is murdered. The case is investigated by seen-it-all burnt-out case Inspector Stoppard (a deadpan Sam Rockwell) and overeager rookie Constable Stalker (Saoirse Ronan). They find themselves in a puzzling mystery set against the backdrop of the glamorous yet selfish theatre world where it’s every man and woman for themselves when the bodies start piling up… Farce and fun are the order of the day in this Agatha Christie-like funhouse, as Stoppard and Stalker attempt to unmask the culprit—and avoid ending up as corpses in the process…
