After nearly fifteen years together, Ale and Alex decide to break up — and to celebrate the breakup with a big party in their hometown of Madrid. Just like a wedding, but the other way around. The Other Way Around is an “anti-romantic” comedy directed by Jonás Trueba, who also co-wrote the film with lead actors Itsaso Arana and Vito Sanz. The film premiered at Cannes (Directors’ Fortnight) and won the award for Best European Film.
