La nuit du 12 (English subtitles)

At some point in his career, every detective comes across a case that touches him more than any other, without knowing exactly why, a case that haunts and won't let go. Ambitious detective Yohan Vivès (Bastien Bouillon) has just been promoted to Chief Inspector of the Grenoble Criminal Investigation Department when Clara's murder case lands on his plate. She was horribly killed on the night of the 12th, but there is no trace of the perpetrator. Vives and his seasoned partner Marceau (Bouli Lanners) interrogate suspect after suspect, but they can't come to a solution. The case is getting colder by the day, until the investigation is officially closed. But Vives and Marceau can't let go of the mystery surrounding Clara's death. ‘La nuit du 12’, in addition to being an intense whodunnit, it is also an investigation into male violence against women…
