About the film
…and these children that you spit on, as they try to change their worlds are immune to your consultations. They’re quite aware of what they’re going through….
The Breakfast Club is a 1985 American feature film directed by John Hughes, who also wrote the script. The song “Don’t You (Forget About Me)” by Simple Minds became a worldwide hit because of this film.
A critic from NRC Handelsblad wrote: “The Breakfast Club is serious in intent, yet both teenagers and adults can greatly enjoy the situations, the dialogues, and especially the excellent performances of the young actors, whose charisma sets the tone of this film.”
Films accessible to all
This event is organized by International Center Tilburg in collaboration with Cinecitta. Both parties want to provide cinema for internationals living in Tilburg. Therefore, the entire program will be in English and films will have English subtitles (or will be English spoken). Cinecitta is a local arthouse cinema that also organizes an International Film Festival every year (013CIFF).
