When Rona (Ronan) leaves the hustle and bustle of London behind and returns to the breathtaking nature of the Scottish Orkney Islands, she gradually finds herself again.
29-year-old Rona has been living in London for 10 years, where the busy city life has swallowed her up. Alcohol and drugs take over, until she decides to put her physical and mental health first. In order to finally overcome her addictions, she returns to the Orkney Islands where she grew up. Here, the memories of her youth merge with the derailed life she led in London. As she surrenders to the overwhelming landscape, the wind and the sea guide Rona on her road to recovery.
