Half a century ago Rocco & Sjuul met in dance halls in The Hague. But, according to John Lennon, life is what happens to you when you actually had other plans. Rocco and Sjuul also lost sight of each other and each started their own families. Until they meet again after all this time and the spark ignites again, much against the wishes of the respective families. And then Christmas, with the obligatory fun, is just around the corner. With Sabri Saad El Hamus and Beppie Melissen as Rocco and Sjuul respectively, little can go wrong with this rom-kom, which is also in the experienced hands of director Anna van der Heide (De Liefhebbers). Mi Vida and Casa Coco have proven it before: it is not just young, tight Costa bodies that are created for love.
