Only the intervention of the guardian angel Clarence, who has descended to Earth, can prevent the worst from happening. He shows Bailey how life would have been without his compassionate presence.
This new 4K restoration comes as the original nitrate negative was in danger of deterioration, prompting Paramount to initiate the 4K restoration to save the negative of this beloved classic—now sharper and more radiant than ever on the big screen.
