100UP

In ‘100UP’, director Heddy Honigmann meets a colourful collection of people 100 years old and older from different parts of the world. They have lived for more than a century and witnessed great historical events, but instead of dwelling on the past, they look ahead. With the clock ticking inexorably, these centenarians seize the day, set new goals with an undimmed joie de vivre, and refuse to give in to the decay of their bodies. Time is both their enemy and their friend. They overcame diseases, lost partners, and some have even outlived their own children.
