Description

In the captivating ‘Presque’, a true feel-good film that follows in the footsteps of ‘Intouchables’ and ‘Hors Normes’, we are introduced to Igor (Alexandre Jollien), a man with a physical disability. He delivers organic vegetables, lives independently, and is very interested in philosophy. An accident brings him into contact with undertaker Louis (Bernard Campan). Igor sees a possible good friend in the stressed Louis, and, when he hides in the hearse with which Louis has to go to the South of France, a special road trip follows. The men learn who they are from each other and do indeed become friends for life. Lead actors Jollien (who has a disability himself) and Campan wrote and directed the film themselves, which was an audience favourite at Film by the Sea last fall.
