We witness the group's journey as they, through trial and error, realize a social, sustainable, and ecocentric habitat on Amsterdam's Centrumeiland. Architect Boris Zeisser speaks before the film.
Boris Zeisser began his career as an architect at Erick van Egeraat after studying in Delft. The firm he founded, 24H-architecture, evolved into Natrufied Architecture. Working with ingredients from nature is one of the fundamental design philosophies of the bureau. Boris is the architect of Amsterdam's first self-build Housing Cooperative: De Warren. He introduces the film Samenwonen, which follows the establishment of De Warren.
